Pemberton Paddling

Whistler Adaptive Sports Program Society is pleased to announce the Pemberton Adaptive Paddling Program starting this summer thanks to funding from Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. Whistler Adaptive is partnering with the Pemberton Canoe Association to provide Pemberton and Mount Currie residents with a cognitive, physical or sensory disability the opportunity to take part in group kayak and canoe lessons. The program will provide a high instructor-to-student ratio for everyone and adaptive paddling equipment for those students with limited mobility. All this will be offered in an inclusive and encouraging environment on One Mile Lake every Wednesday from July 1 to September 2. Participants will be split into kids and adults groups. 

WHEN: Wednesday from July 1 to September 2, 2015
WHERE: One Mile Lake, Pemberton, BC
COST: $20 per 2-hour session. If you are a bursary recipient, the cost of the program can be applied against the funds you've received.
