Adapting the Playground

Whistler Adaptive depends on funding for volunteer and coach training, equipment maintenance, development of new adaptive sports and promotion.

An example of what your donation will provide:

• $25 will allow a local or visiting individual to experience the fresh air and mountain vistas from a canoe on Alta Lake
• $65 will allow an athlete with limited mobility to explore the beautiful Whistler alpine with the use of a trail rider
• $250 will provide a local athlete with a full-day private sit-ski lesson at Whistler Blackcomb
• $500 will help maintain current equipment
• $1,000 will sponsor an athlete for a year of multi-sport programming
• $5,000 will help us purchase a mono-ski for alpine skiing

One-time donation

Make a donation of the amount of your choice. A tax receipt will be issued in your name or your company name immediately.

Monthly gift

By committing to a monthly donation, you are supporting ongoing programs and athlete progression. You will receive an annual tax receipt for your total contribution that year.

Gifts to Celebrate

Give the gift of sport for life by making a donation in the name of a friend or loved one to celebrate a birthday, wedding or holiday. Include a personal message to the recipient in our Whistler Adaptive e-cards.

Gifts In Memoriam

Celebrate the life of a loved one by making a donation. Your gift honors their spirit and influence in your life while contributing to current and future athletes with a disability.

When filling out the online donation form, please indicate that you are making an in tribute or in memoriam gift in the appropriate field or include a note with your cheque if sending a donation by mail. Include the name of the person for whom you would like to pay tribute.

If you would like someone to be notified of your donation, please include their name and contact information.

Are you already giving, but want to change your donation? Just give us a call. At any time, you can increase or decrease your donation, cancel it or put it on hold.
