Activities
Whistler Adaptive Sports Program is a not-for-profit society that provides year-around, recreational programs for people of all ages with disabilities and neurodiversity. Our programs are run in private (one on one) sessions, groups, and camp settings. Click here to register for one of our programs or use our contact form to ask us questions before registering.

Adaptive Mountain Biking (aMTB)
Whether you are trying adaptive mountain biking for the first time or seeking to build your skills over one of our multi-week programs, we have a range of adaptive bikes to support a variety of rider requirements.
Alpine Sit-Skiing
Whether you are trying sit-skiing for the first time or looking to progress your skills, we have a full fleet of bi-skis and mono skis available to help you learn how to sit-ski independently or enjoy the mountains with a guide and your friends and family.
Canoeing
Our canoeing program builds skills in a controlled and safe environment while offering beautiful views of Whistler's Alta Lake, One Mile Lake in Pemberton and Alice Lake in Squamish.
Climbing
Learn to climb on an artificial wall with auto belays at Whistler Sport Legacies.
Hiking
From short alpine jaunts and peak-to-peak experiences to full-day technical trail hikes. Explore the mountains, forests and lakes of the Sea to Sky by foot or on our Trail Rider with our Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton based coaches.
Kayaking
Our kayaking program immerses you in a paddling environment where you'll learn entry level skills through to more advanced techniques, build confidence and independence at your own pace.
Nordic Skiing
Weekly instruction in skate skiing and classic skiing on Whistler’s Lost Lake trails, centrally located near Whistler Village or at Whistler Olympic Park in the beautiful Callaghan Valley. Instruction ranges from beginner to expert.
Paddleboarding
Paddleboard on Whistler's beautiful Alta Lake or Alice Lake, Squamish. Standup and adaptive paddleboard equipment provided. Our adaptive paddleboard with pontoons for stability, supports wheelchair users and comes with its own chair that secures on to the board, therefore users will need to transfer into this chair. Physical Literacy sessions introduce a range of activities to support the development of fundamental movement skills including coordination, agility, rhythm, flexibility, strength and balance.
Sailing
Join our adaptive sailing program in Whistler, British Columbia, and embrace the joy of sailing regardless of your physical abilities. Our program offers customized sailing experiences with state-of-the-art adaptive equipment, ensuring safety and comfort for all.
Ski and Snowboard
Our Ski and Snowboard program, run in partnership with Whistler Blackcomb provides group and private ski and snowboard lessons across a range of adaptations at one of the world's best mountain resorts.
Swimming
Swimming is a great way for individuals with limited mobility to get a total body workout. Whether you’ve been swimming for years or new to the pool our certified instructors and coaches will support you in an aquatic environment.
Two-wheel biking
Two-wheel biking lessons focus on building skills and confidence and trying new things in a safe, controlled environment.
