Posted: July 21, 2025Read Time: 1 minute

EVENT DETAILS

The Whistler Adrenaline Weekender is an annual three-day event hosted by Spinal Cord Injury BC and the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, designed to introduce individuals with spinal cord injuries to the thrill and freedom of outdoor adventure. Set against the stunning backdrop of Whistler, British Columbia, the weekend offers participants the chance to try a variety of adaptive sports, including mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking. With access to specialized adaptive equipment and experienced coaches, participants are fully supported in exploring new activities at their own pace. The event includes accessible accommodations, all meals, and guided instruction, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all abilities. Beyond the activities, the Adrenaline Weekender fosters connection, confidence, and community, offering a space where participants can challenge themselves, share experiences, and embrace the outdoors in a safe, empowering setting.

Cost: $100 per person – this includes accommodation, food, and activities for the whole weekend!

Registration: Contact Avery at aalbrecht@sci-bc.ca or Ryan at rclarkson@sci-bc.ca for information on registration
