At Whistler Adaptive, we believe that everyone deserves access to the joy, freedom, and empowerment that sport and recreation bring, regardless of financial barriers.
We’re proud to share that this year, 35 athletes will receive program bursaries, helping ensure our programs remain within reach for individuals and families living with disabilities.
Families supporting a person with a disability often face lifelong and unpredictable expenses, from medical and mobility equipment to transportation and care needs. Our bursary program helps ease some of that burden, making participation in adaptive sport possible for everyone who wishes to play, learn, and grow with us.
A heartfelt thank you to the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s Community Enhancement Fund and the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District’s Pemberton and District Initiative Fund for making this support possible. Your investment helps create opportunities, confidence, and community connection for athletes of all abilities.
Together, we’re building a more inclusive future, one athlete at a time.
