From Alpine Hikes to Forest Rides — Summer Starts Here

Posted: May 8, 2026Read Time: 2 minutes

Summer is back, and so is another exciting season with Whistler Adaptive Sports across the Sea to Sky! Come join us starting July 6th and enjoy the beautiful outdoors and our inclusive programs in Whistler, Squamish, and Pemberton.

Weekly Programs For Every Kind of Adventure

Across all three communities, athletes can enjoy a variety of outdoor programs for different ages, interests, and experience levels. Whether you’re trying a sport for the first time, getting back into a favourite activity, or looking for more ways to stay active outside, this summer’s lineup offers plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Join us in Whistler for kids’ and adults’ kayaking, 2-wheel biking, hiking, canoeing/paddleboarding, adaptive mountain biking, and yoga.

Our Squamish programming features paddlesports, adaptive mountain biking, 2-wheel biking (beginner and intermediate), open water readiness, and paddle camp.

In Pemberton, athletes can participate in paddle camp and scenic hiking for those 8 years old and up.

Registration starts on May 18th at 9 am. Get in touch at info@whistleradaptive.com for any program inquires.

Program Overview

Special Events & ‘Try It’ Days

Alongside the weekly programs, we have some great activities and special events this summer:

July 3rd – Open water readiness day ‘Try It’ – a day to bridge the gap between indoor pool-based swimming and lifesaving skills and the realities of swimming and recreating in outdoor open water environments.

July 24th – All Terrain Mountain Bike (AMTB) ‘Try It’ day in partnership with Squamish Adaptive Mountain Bike Association (SAMBA), where participants can try mountain biking for the first time on the beautiful Squamish trails.

July 31st – Crankworx First Tracks ‘Try It’ day – a chance to try out a variety of adaptive mountain bikes and mountain biking during the thrilling Crankworx week

August – last week of August (date TBD): the ever-popular end-of-summer BBQ.

We will be partnering with Spinal Cord Injury BC for the annual ‘Adrenaline Weekend’ (Aug 7th, 8th, 9th) and a new Youth Camp (July 9th, 10th, 11th).
