From winter snow sports through to summer hikes, it is thanks to Whistler Blackcomb and Vail Resorts that Whistler Adaptive athletes can experience and reap the benefits of this amazing alpine playground.
Our subsidized multi-sport adaptive programs operate seasonally at Whistler Blackcomb Resort and ensure access to mountain sports and physical recreation for anyone with disabilities and neurodiversity living in or visiting the Sea to Sky region.

The Whistler Adaptive Sports Community Alpine Ski and Snowboard Program – Every winter local athletes can access a 12-week subsidized snowsports program, delivered by trained adaptive coaches and volunteers utilizing specialist adaptive equipment. The WAS Jeff Harber Adaptive Sports Centre at Whistler Blackcomb’s Olympic Midstation is home to our alpine program.

Whistler Blackcomb’s Adaptive Ski and Ride Program on behalf of Whistler Adaptive Sports – Thanks to Whistler Blackcomb and Vail Resorts over 1400 adaptive ski lessons are delivered each year to visitors from around the world.

Facilitating adaptive adventure and exploration on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains – every year Whistler Adaptive Sports Program coaches and volunteers facilitate memorable outdoor adventures for local athletes and their families as well as participants of the SCI BC Adrenaline Weekender camp.

Supporting the rise and revolution of adaptive mountain biking – from first wheel rotations to Crankworx podiums, adaptive mountain biking is booming and its only set to grow. Through accessible infrastructure and widening trails Whistler Blackcomb are supporting that growth.
