Join our Alpine Community Snowsports Team and help shape inclusive snowsports in Whistler

Posted: February 20, 2026Read Time: 1 minute

At Whistler Adaptive Sports Program Society, alpine snowsports is at the heart of what we do.

With the ongoing support of Whistler Blackcomb and the Vail Epic Promise Foundation, our team has been delivering adaptive, participant-centred snowsports programs in Whistler since 1999.

Our alpine programs are built around inclusive teaching, small group instruction and strong collaboration between instructors and volunteers. Every participant brings different strengths, goals and support needs, and our team adapts their teaching to create safe, positive and confidence-building experiences on snow.

A great opportunity to join our team

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate alpine instructor to join our team for the remainder of the season in a lead instructor role within our Sunday community program.

This established group supports neurodivergent participants and continuity is a key part of their learning and confidence. We are looking for someone who can step in and provide consistent, participant-focused leadership for the weeks ahead.

This role offers the chance to:

  • lead an established adaptive group
  • work alongside a supportive volunteer team
  • be part of a long-standing, respected adaptive snowsports organisation

👉 Full role details and how to apply are available in the job posting here
