Earlier this year, Whistler Adaptive coaches Sawyer and Adria, together with local athlete Alex Cairns joined Clay, Tanner and the Forward team on Whistler mountain for a day of shredding. Now the team are excited to welcome the brother’s back to Whistler for the world premiere of their documentary Forward.
Forward celebrates the power of adaptive adventure through the story of Clay March, a young man with cerebral palsy whose love for skiing, surfing, and the outdoors pushes the limits of possibility. Alongside his triplet brother Tanner, Clay’s journey is both personal and universal, a reminder that adventure is for everyone, no matter the barriers.
The film features a vibrant cast of world-class adaptive athletes, including Mac Marcoux, Victoria Feige, and Kai Colless. Together, they demonstrate how innovation, representation, and community are reshaping the future of sport.
Filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of the Pacific Northwest, Forward highlights the resilience of athletes who refuse to be defined by society’s perceived limits. At its heart, the documentary is a call to reimagine adventure, not as something reserved for the few, but as a shared human experience that thrives on accessibility, creativity, and inclusion.
