Autism Camp Funded by Whistler Community Foundation: July 24th
Camp runs from 9am - 3pm. Meeting at Wayside Park at 9am, we will start the day going over our plan for the camp and orient ourselves to the staff and surroundings. We will then head over to our home base the Whistler Adaptive cabin and dock where we will launch our activities. We offer many options for watersport activities including kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding and rowing. The day will be spent exploring Alta Lake, playing games and having fun. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
What to Bring
As we will be spending the whole day in or around the water it is very important to make sure your child is adequately prepared for the day.
Please bring:
- Extra layers (pants and a sweater)
- Snacks
- Sun safety items (hat, sunglasses and sunscreen)
- Rainwear
- Running shoes
- Bathing suit
- Towels for all participants
$45 for youth with Autism (with a WAS 2022/23 membership), $25 for each additional family member (WAS membership not required).
