Do you want to join the Whistler Adaptive team? We are looking to fill a 1-year temporary position for our Lead Coach and Social Media Coordinator. If you have a passion for adaptive sport and making a difference in your community, then this is the job for you!
Qualifications:
-Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification.
-The ability to instruct or lead individuals in indoor and outdoor adaptive sport, recreation, and therapeutic activities.
-Knowledge of the following activities: hiking, mountain biking/cycling/hand-cycling, paddle sports (canoeing and kayaking), rowing, gymnastics, swimming, yoga, strength & conditioning, running, Alpine skiing and snowboarding, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoe, and more. Must be willing and able to learn these sports and more.
-Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft 365.
-A social media and marketing background.
-Are familiar with problem analysis and problem solving.
-The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Great listening skills.
-Strong customer service skills and ability to work with individuals of all ages and their families.

We are currently taking applications for the position of Summer Program Leader. We are seeking Canadian students currently registered in university or college with a passion for coaching and sport. Below is a brief summary of the job description:
The Summer Program Leader will be able to perform a complete assessment of students in a wide array of sports we offer, determine adaptive equipment needs, set goals and plan lessons, assist our instructors and coaches to lead activities, document progress, maintain records, and assist our instructors and coaches to make recommendations for future lessons. As needed, the Summer Program Leader will also assist with general administration, marketing, and fundraising.
