Leave a legacy and support adaptive sports for years to come with a gift in your will or through a donation to our endowment fund. We encourage you to discuss your plans with your loved ones and with a professional financial advisor who can help you design a legacy gift that benefits loved ones, honours your passion for adaptive sports, and makes the most of the available tax benefits.
A Gift in your Will
A gift by bequest in your will is an easy and impactful way to make a meaningful gift. Your estate will receive a donation receipt that will produce generous tax credits to offset any taxes owing on your Estate on your final tax return.
A Gift of Stocks
A gift of securities, including stocks, stock options or bonds, is an easy way for you to make a gift now or in the future. By donating your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due upon the sale of those securities.
A Gift of Retirement Assets
Retirement assets like RRSPs and RRIFs (registered retirement income funds) are another excellent way to give a legacy gift.
A Gift of Life Insurance
The Whistler Adaptive Sports Program will consider gifts of a life insurance policy. Please contact us to discuss this charitable giving option.
We would be pleased to help you and your advisors arrange a legacy gift. Please feel free to contact Shelley at smilstein@whistleradaptive.com or 604-787-4929.
How to Direct Gifts in Your Will
