Trailblazer, Adventurer, Explorer or Mountaineer? Introducing our Alpine Sea to Sky Riders Program
The WAS Sea to Sky Riders is our new group alpine ski and ride weekend program. It is designed for athletes to practice their skills in a community setting. Remember, athletes who ski together, SEND together!
Trailblazers: The Trailblazers program is tailored for beginners, focusing on fundamental skills, getting comfortable with equipment, and navigating basic terrain within the learning area. Participants will learn essential techniques in a supportive environment, helping them build confidence as they embark on their outdoor adventures.
Adventurers: The Adventurers program is designed for novice participants focused on developing their skills beyond the learning area while gaining confidence in various mountain environments. Our program emphasizes fostering independence and adaptability, encouraging riders to explore different terrains at their own pace.
Explorers: The Explorers program is designed for intermediate participants, focusing on building confidence, improving technique, and beginning to explore more varied terrain. In this program, participants will enhance their skills through hands-on experiences, encouraging growth and independence in a supportive environment.
Mountaineers: The Mountaineers program is designed for expert participants, focusing on advanced techniques, fostering independence, and providing challenge-oriented experiences. This program encourages participants to push their limits and refine their skills in a supportive environment, with opportunities to focus on freeride and racing disciplines.
